Celebrity Traitors Finale Mistakenly Made Available A Full Day Prematurely Outside the UK
Important: This piece avoids reveals concerning the final episode
The final episode of the celebrity version of the popular reality show was uploaded in error by international broadcasters prior to its scheduled UK broadcast on Thursday, according to official sources.
Reports indicate that the final was watched by a small number of subscribers of the streaming service Crave in the North American country; these individuals could view it for a couple of hours until it was taken down.
This episode being uploaded was not a error by the original broadcaster, and a representative for the company asked those who believe they know the result of the show to "avoid sharing potential spoilers".
"We urge those who believes they have uncovered the ending of the celebrity edition to keep any information they have to themselves," the announcement read.
"Please avoid sharing any spoilers so that the millions of fans who have been closely watching every twist and turn of the series can enjoy the final this night."
The Celebrity Traitors is currently the most-watched TV program of the current year, with an average of 12.6m viewers over the first four episodes.
Viewers of the show have been waiting to see whether deceivers the traitors will win the £100,000 prize for charity or whether faithfuls Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olosuga will be victorious.
A past champion of the third season of the show stated that "no one likes reveals", which are "joy's enemy".
He mentioned he will be sitting down to view the final tonight live, with all of his family and "some snacks".
Thursday's final episode is lengthened to 70 minutes on the main channel, with an extended edition of the companion show scheduled to broadcast on BBC Two after the final.
Presenter Ed Gamble will be joined by the contestants and Claudia Winkleman as they react to the series conclusion.
